An Eye for an Eye by Arsenic
Author’s Summary: None. Does include the following warnings: Angst, Drama, Established Relationship, First Time, Future Fic, Hurt Comfort, Pairings: Slash (m/m), Pairings: Threesome or more, Romance
My Thoughts: Harry owes Draco a life debt and Draco collects years later, but not in the way Harry expects. Draco’s love, Severus, is dying slowly; rotting away due to an overuse of dark magic. Harry helps with the cure, and along the way the threesome reluctantly falls in love.
New And Then There Were Three by swtalmnd
Pairing: Snape/Draco, Snape/OMC, Snape/Harry, Snape/Harry/Draco
Author’s Summary: Snape asks Draco and Harry to participate in the first round of his Petitioner's Courtship as a favour, and they both allow themselves to consider his suit more seriously than anyone expected.
My Thoughts: This is such a well-written piece, that I will be going to see what else this author has written. In addition, she managed to bring in an assortment of original characters that I had no desire to hate. Even the Snape/OMC referenced above is done in such a way that I still liked the OMC. Seeing these three men learn to love each other, through an archaic convention was just... wow. Please, don't let the mpreg frighten you away, as it only appears in he last few pages, and even then, is not explored in depth.
Draconic Recall and Dragon Tear Resurrection by Vera
Author’s Summary: Harry sneaks down to the kitchen in memory of his wife and winds up remembering a whole lot more, including the slow disintegration of his friend and lover.
My Thoughts: Harry and Severus mourn the passing of Ginny and Draco. I would tell you more, but it would spoil the fic. There is at least one major character death and one resurrection. This fic is worth your time.
Good Life Becoming by Sansa
Author’s Summary: What does it take to turn animosity into something else? Harry, Severus and Draco form a binding friendship that evolves into much more. The events that bring them together also threaten to tear them apart.
My Thoughts: I really cannot summarize this any better than Sansa already has. The three slowly become the world to each other, and in doing so, lose the world.
The Malfoy Guide to Productive Extortion by Mirabella
Rating: X (Sex, sex, sex)
Author’s Summary: Harry's either drunk and horny or drunk and cuddly, depending on your point of view. Ron's straight but no one holds it against him. Draco could hand out detentions, but he has a better idea.
My Thoughts: I really can’t do better than what it says above. Harry is drunk and cuddly and Ron is straight and the boy on boy on boy action is gorgeous.
Nary a Grain of Good Sense by Anonymous (written for Merry Smutmas 2005)
Author’s Summary: chazpure indicated she was not averse to "sex in/under water, foodsmut, h/c with happy ending." I think I got most of that in, to some degree or another.
My Thoughts: I adore the Weasley twins. They were my frist true loves in the HP fandom before I actually admitted that I read here. For some reason they seem to work really well with Snape. In this particular story, they woo him into working with them and loving them after the war.
Through a Shattered Mirror by Rushlight
Author’s Summary: When Harry falls into the hands of the Death Eaters, he learns that life isn't as black-and-white as he'd once thought it to be.
My Thoughts: Read the warnings listed here before reading the story itself. Harry is given to Snape as a reward for service. Both Harry and Draco are 16 in this story. This is heart wrenching and aching and you can see how, with a little different outcome in the books, this could happen. I have re-read this numerous times and will again.
Twice the Fun, Twice the Trouble and Twice the Danger by Drake of Dross
Rating: R, R and NC-17, respectively
Author’s Summary: Severus finds himself pregnant after spending a night with Fred and George.
My Thoughts: This is one of those series that I go back and read time and again, even though there are many parts of it that make me more than uncomfortable. This isn’t a light ’FrednGeorge seduce Severus’ romp. It gets very dark and honestly, the number of children produced by the threesome are outrageous. However, as I do go back to it time and again, I must recommend it. The third story is rated NC-17 for rape outside the threesome.
Quid Pro Quo, T.O.O. by Josan
Pairing: Harry/Draco, Harry/Draco/Severus
Author’s Summary: (Paraphrased) The War is still raging and Voldemort is giving the Order of the Phoenix a good run for its money. Draco has repudiated his father and all that he stands for. Prophecy has indicated that he is somehow important to Harry's eventual success. Right now, they're getting along as well as... a Gryffindor and a Slytherin who have hated each other's guts from the moment they met. But the moment the two spy each other, hexes begin to fly and...well, that does not bode well for eventual victory over Voldemort.
My Thoughts: This is a BDSM fic with Severus Snape dominating Harry and Draco in an effort to bring them together to fulfill the prophecy. I thought that this was brilliantly written, with new magical ideas. Snape does an amazing job at recognizing that reinforcements, as well as punishments, must be individualized and this is something you just do not see in most fanfic. Go. Read. Really. Even if you don’t like Snape. Really. Go.
